Pre-race | Warm-up
We reccomend getting to the race an hour before the first race/trial. Get there, relax, find the start, ask questions and get warmed up.
Hydration?
There is a break between each race so it is recommended to hydrate after each event and it is encouraged to bring your favorite hydration beverage. Save the beer for after the 3000 meter race.
Race Starts
Some venues are not setup to start at the same start location. The start mat for the 800 meter race might be moved to accomodate the venue. The 1500 meter start might start further up the road. In most cases the finish line for each trial/race will be in the same place. Listen to the race director for start information and find out where you should lineup for each trial.
Each Race
Since each races is a different distance the turn-arounds for each race are clearly marked on the course with a course marshall at each turn-around.
Race Registration
The race signup is handled by https://runsignup.com. There you can register and pay for the race. To find a race closest to you check out the race calendar here.
Point Calculations
The points are calculated using a patent scoring system using performace tables, a little algebra, some trig and a big calcualtor device.
